Thermal utilisation reduces the mass and volume of sewage sludge and utilises the energy potential of the organic substance. The new recycling plant will increase disposal security for the 19 association members, ensure fee stability and create the opportunity to fulfil the legal requirement to recover the valuable raw material phosphorus from the ash.
