Felix Schürhoff has been working at the nexus Institute since 2021, initially as a student assistant and since 2025 as a research assistant in the area of civil society.

After completing a dual training programme as a technical product designer, he studied social sciences at the Humboldt University in Berlin. During his studies, he specialised in deliberative decision-making and its qualitative research. He gained professional experience at the ‘Digitale Chancen’ foundation in Berlin and the French participation institute ‘Missions Publiques’, where he was responsible for advising and coordinating international project partners and organising citizen and stakeholder dialogues.

His areas of expertise include the planning and implementation of random-based participation formats and the moderation of discussion groups.
