The Senate Department for the Environment, Transport and Climate Protection, Climate Protection and Climate Adaptation Unit intends to further develop the Berlin Energy and Climate Protection Program for the implementation period 2022 – 2026.
In order to make the strategies, action concepts and measures of the program more understandable at the societal level and to take into account the contributions and expectations of different stakeholder groups, a participation process with different stakeholder groups and public relations work will be implemented as part of the BEK further development. The main objective is to concretize the hitherto rather abstract and conceptual level of climate protection and adaptation by actively involving different groups of actors and to focus more on the implementation level.
On behalf of the Senate Department for the Environment, Mobility, Consumer and Climate Protection, the nexus Institute, together with the planning community, is conducting a series of workshops with the expert public and departments, two expert forums, and two public online participations.
