The MiGriS project aims to test sustainable and efficient urban mobility solutions using battery exchange stations for small and light vehicles.
It combines modular and replaceable batteries with stations for bidirectional charging in a microgrid system. The aim is to promote environmentally friendly transport solutions. The system will be tested in three locations – Antalya, Dugopolje (Split) and in Berlin on the EUREF Campus – to test functionalities, user experience and financial feasibility. The focus of the project is on analysing social acceptance and market potential. In addition, crash courses for battery repair and vehicle maintenance are being developed.
The nexus Institute is responsible for the development of the three pilots, including public relations and user surveys.
