Conception and implementation of five further training as part of the workshop series “Learning together” for the experience and consulting network Bürgerbeteiligung Sachsen (EBBS)

The Saxon State Ministry of Justice and Democracy, Europe and Gender Equality (SMJusDEG) has launched a new series of workshops for the members of the experience and advisory network of citizen participation in Saxony (EBBS) under the motto “Learning together”. The workshop series includes a total of 22 further training courses on various topics and for different target groups in the area of participation.

The nexus Institute was commissioned with the conception and implementation of five further training courses in the context of the workshop series:

• Introduction to citizen participation and democratic political decision-making (for municipalities)
• Introduction to citizen participation and democratic political decision-making (for civil society)
• Citizen participation in the energy transition
• Civil participation and administrative modernisation
• Accessibility of citizen participation – in the sense of a wide concept of inclusion
