Die Standortsuche f\u00fcr das Freiheits- und Einheitsdenkmal in Leipzig wird konkreter. Schon bald werden die Ergebnisse des B\u00fcrgerrats der \u00d6ffentlichkeit \u00fcbergeben.<\/p>\n

Seit November plant das nexus im Auftrag der Stiftung Friedliche Revolution Leipzig einen B\u00fcrgerrat. Vierzig B\u00fcrgerinnen und B\u00fcrger, die die Bev\u00f6lkerung m\u00f6glichst repr\u00e4sentativ abbilden soll, wurden zuf\u00e4llig ausgew\u00e4hlt und zur Teilnahme eingeladen. Ziel des B\u00fcrgerrats ist es, dass die Mitglieder im letzten Januar-Wochenende 2022 nach einer Begehung und ausf\u00fchrlicher Abw\u00e4gung einen Standortvorschlag f\u00fcr das Denkmal an den Leipziger Stadtrat formulieren. Voraussichtlich am 10. Februar wird das B\u00fcrgergutachten zum Standort des Freiheits- und Einheitsdenkmals dann in einer \u00f6ffentlichen Veranstaltung \u00fcbergeben werden.<\/p>\n

Am Prozess beteiligt sich au\u00dferdem ein f\u00fcnfk\u00f6pfiges Expertengremium und Werner M\u00f6ller, Leiter der Kuratorischen Werkstatt im Bauhaus Dessau. F\u00fcr die Stadt Leipzig bleibt die finale Entscheidung beim Stadtrat.<\/p>\n
