The central research question is: What kind of health system do citizens want in the future and how can they actively shape it?<\/p>\n<p>The World Health Organisation recommends a reorientation of health care towards citizen-centredness and integrated care. During the planning cells various aspects of health care in order to derive central recommendations for the further development of the health care system will be discussed.<\/p>\n<p>For this purpose, 200 randomly selected citizens will come together in eight planning cells in these cities. On five dates, they discuss questions of outpatient and inpatient care, care for the chronically ill, health promotion and prevention, but also the decision to include care services in the benefits catalogue of the statutory health insurance, based on impulses from experts. Questions of integrative medicine will also be discussed in this context.<\/p>\n<p>nexus conducts these planning cells as a neutral research institute based on the latest scientific findings.
