As a result of an agreement between the Bundestag parliamentary groups, the theme of the Citizens\u2019 Assembly is \u201cGermany&#8217;s role in the world\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>For the Citizens\u2019 Assembly, 160 participants selected at random from all over Germany will meet on ten dates between January 13th and February 20th, 2021. They will deliberate on various thematic aspects of Germany&#8217;s role in the world, ultimately developing and adopting recommendations for the Bundestag.
