nexus is carrying out an active evaluation of the educational project “Green Up Your Future 2”, which is offered by the non-profit research association \u201cBionik-Kompetenznetz e.V\u201d.<\/p>\n
At the core of the educational project are a total of twenty-seven, four-day work camps, running from 2020-2022, in which 6-12 young people from the ages of 18-22 will take part. As part of an overarching storyline, the participants immerse themselves in six worlds of learning and experience. Each of the worlds acts as an escape room, and presents the participants with difficult tasks that they must solve together in order to save the world. The aim of the program is to provide an environment in which young people can realize and test their unique aptitudes, as well as discover unrealized potential. In addition, the participants will be taught the \u201cgreen potential\u201d of different professional fields, and experience that there is a \u201cgreening potential\u201d in almost every profession.<\/p>\n
The participants are given the opportunity to test and develop their personal skills, as well to gain a better understanding of whether or not, and in what form, they may envision their professional futures in the field of the ecological \/ sustainable restructuring of industrial society. In the workcamps, the self-efficacy of the young people will be strengthened and the foundations for their own professional decisions be laid.<\/p>\n
In order to implement the method of active evaluation, the project initiators and the participants will be questioned using qualitative interviews.
