In 2012, the city of Heidelberg was the first German city to develop guidelines for citizen participation. More than 120 municipalities have followed this example to date.
nexus is responsible for the organisation, support and moderation of a multi-stage participation process to develop guidelines for citizen participation for the city of G\u00f6ttingen. This includes the conception, organisation, moderation and evaluation of a future forum with randomly selected citizens as well as the planning, implementation and moderation of the \u2018Participation Working Group\u2019, which is made up of representatives from the citizenry, administration and politics.
