On behalf of the Saxon State Government, nexus evaluated the State Programme of the Free State of Saxony to promote measures for coping with demographic change. The state programme promotes projects and measures in Saxony that are designed to positively address demographic change in their region. The programme has been in existence since mid-2007. Based on the analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the projects (project-related individual observations) as well as the programme, recommendations were derived that aim to further develop the state programme and systematise and optimise the funding strategies. <\/p>\n
