This unique event with a carnival parade, street festival and supporting programme had to be cancelled in 2022 for the third time in a row due to Corona. In preparation for its 25th edition in 2023, the carnival is using the break to take stock, reassure itself and reinvent itself for all those involved. nexus has been commissioned to organise participation events to involve the carnival stakeholders in the mission statement process and to process the findings for the mission statement process in order to jointly develop a concept for the future.

The mission statement process will be carried out with four information stands in public spaces, a scenario workshop in September with participating actors, an accompanying online survey and supportive social media offerings.

Duration: 06/2022 – 10/2023
Client: Karneval der Kulturen e.
