Arnd Hofmeister has been a research associate at the nexus Institute since 2020 with a focus on health-related research and evaluation projects.<\/p>\n

Arnd Hofmeister (Dipl. Psych, Dr. phil.) studied and received his doctorate in psychology at the Free University of Berlin. After a postdoc at the University of Western Sydney \/ Australia, he worked for 11 years at the University of Applied Sciences Magdeburg-Stendal, among other as a substitute professor in the study programmes Health Promotion and Childhood Sciences. During that time he was involved in a number of EU research and development projects on health inequalities, e-learning and competence development in the field of health promotion \/ public health. Since 2004 he is a member of the \u201cEuropean Training Consortium for Health Promotion Public Health.\u201d Furthermore, Arnd Hofmeister is a member of the editorial board of the journals \u201ctheory psychology\u201d, \u201cForum Kritische Psychologie\u201d and \u201cSistema Salute. La rivista italiana di educazione sanitaria e promozione della salute\u201d.<\/p>\n

Since 2011 he works as a freelance lecturer and consultant in the field of public health. He is an honorary lecturer at the University of Liverpool, University of Roehampton, Leuphana University, Burgenland University of Applied Sciences and Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences. His work focuses on participatory action research, qualitative research and evaluation in the field of health promotion \/ public health.<\/p>\n<\/div>
