Philipp Offermann studied political science, sociology and social anthropology at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster. Since 2008, he has been involved in research and knowledge transfer projects in all three disciplines: as a visual anthropologist, editor, project coordinator, author, and project manager. Thematically, he worked on radicalisation and extremism, disaster management and the social dimensions of security and freedom. He has joined nexus as a research associate in the “Networks and Society” unit in 2023.
