Karlotta Schultz completed a double-degree bachelor in Environmental Sciences and Political Sicence at Leuphana University Lüneburg as well as a master’s degree in Global Environment, Politics and Society at the University of Edinburgh. In her dissertation she analysed the framing of climate protection in the civil dialogue regarding the Climate Protection Plan 2050 of the German government.

She gained experiences concerning national and international climate and environmental protection policies in internships at the German Environmental Agency and the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit. During her studies, Karlotta worked as student assistant in the university’s development in Lüneburg.

Since 2020, she works at nexus Institute für Cooperation Management and Interdisciplinary Research in the fields of sustainability and regional development.
